Special Marriage
The extraordinary Special marriage laws are relevant to residents of India regardless of their religion, caste, or culture.
Under provisions of the Special Marriage Act, individuals from an alternate religion, caste or community are permitted to get married, gave certain conditions are met:
  1. Marriage enrollment in India is obligatory to solemnize a marriage under this Act. A family legal advisor can be appointed to finish marriage enrollment or a registration in India.
  2. The period of both lady and lucky man must be 18 and 21 years individually.
  3. The people getting married must be intellectually or mentally fit for the marriage.
  4. Both the to be bride and groom can’t share regular progenitors or be blood-related family members.
  5. According to this Act, there are 37 relations prohibited, in which no wedding can be performed between blood-related family members.
